The Doylestown Township Parks and Recreation Department and the Environmental Advisory Council invite you to participate in an "Introduction to Birdwatching Hike."  Led by Township Ornithologist Ray Hendrick, the walk will begin in Central Park and meander for approximately 2 miles along park system trails.  Included in the walk will be a stop at the Central Park bird blind, several stops at bluebird boxes that are part of Mr. Hendrick's ongoing nestbox program, and stops at many sites where Spring migrating birds might be viewed.  The pace of the walk will be relaxed, but sturdy shoes are recommended!  Also recommended: binoculars if you have them, a hat, water, and sunblock.  All are welcome!
